Doctoralia can help patients find you. It should not be the only thing you have.
Your profile lives on their domain, appears next to your colleagues on the same screen, and the visibility you pay for stops the month you stop paying. Below is what changes when the page and the calendar are yours.
What actually happens when someone looks for you
Four steps, no marketing words. Follow one patient.
- 1
Your patient looks for a doctor on Google
They type something like “dentist near me” or “orthodontist in Tijuana”. Someone who does not know you yet cannot type your name.
- 2
Google shows doctors with their own page, and shows Doctoralia
If you have your own page, you can be one of those results. If you only have a profile, the result that appears is Doctoralia's, not yours.
- 3
Your patient clicks Doctoralia and lands on a list
That page shows you next to every colleague in your specialty in your city, side by side, with stars and prices. The patient compares.
- 4
And there you compete all over again
That is a second comparison, inside a list you do not control, where profiles that pay appear above profiles that do not. Doctoralia says so on its own site.
With your own page, that patient sees your treatments, your credentials and your availability, and can request an appointment right there. Nobody else on the screen.
Try it on your phone
Search your specialty + city like a new patient would. Three quick, real checks.
Search what a patient would search
Open Google on your phone and type your specialty + city. Not your name. A stranger cannot type your name.
- You do not appear on the first screen. This is the usual result, and it is what the rest of this page is about.
- A directory appears and you are inside it. You are visible, and you are visible next to your competitors.
- Your own page appears. Good. Check whether it appears for your treatments too, not only for your name.
Look at the map block, above the normal results
The map block is where most local searches end. It is fed by Google Business Profiles.
- You are not in it. Claiming and completing it is free, and we help you do it without charging for it.
- You are in it with no photos or old hours. Half done. A neglected profile ranks below a maintained one in the same block.
- You are in it, complete, with recent reviews. You already have a solid base of local presence. The rest is building on top of it.
Try to book with yourself, as a stranger would
From whatever came up, try to book without using anything you know as the owner. Time it.
- There is no way to book, only a phone number. Then everything depends on somebody answering. A booking form takes requests even when nobody can pick up.
- You can write, but nobody replies for hours. A patient comparing three clinics books with whoever answered first, not with whoever is best.
- You booked, and it was confirmed. Then your problem is not conversion. It is how many people get this far.
If all three came out well, you do not need us for this and we will say so on the call. If any of them stung, the check turns what you just saw into a short list of what to fix first.
Turn this into a plan, 2 minAnd who answers at eleven at night?
An assistant answers questions and takes appointment requests outside clinic hours too. A patient comparing three practices tends to book with whoever answered first.
- Answers at 11pm and on Sunday
- Prices, hours, address, what to bring
- Takes the booking and confirms it
- Can collect a deposit before the visit

20 messages left
An automated assistant handles hours, prices, requirements and booking. It should never interpret a symptom or suggest a treatment, and anything that sounds urgent goes to a person immediately.
How the agent is builtEvery appointment, confirmed and remembered without anyone doing it by hand
On a directory, the booking is theirs and you get a notification. On your own site it lands in your panel, the patient gets a confirmation and the reminder is scheduled on its own.

Do not take our word for it
This is the exact reminder a patient receives on their phone the moment they book.
Live sending is paused for maintenance. Write to us on WhatsApp and we will trigger a real reminder to your phone in front of you.
We use the number for this single message and to keep the limit. Mexico and the United States only.

Are you doing marketing, or paying for visibility?
Your patients are on these platforms. To connect them properly you need a page of your own: it is the only place where you can see what each ad actually produced, and send every click to the treatment it promised.
Only profiles: what still works
- Run lead ads and click-to-WhatsApp
- Pay for clicks and reach
- See how many people wrote to you
You can advertise. You just cannot tell which of it worked.
With your own site: what opens up
- Install your own tag and measure conversions
- Send each ad to the treatment page it promised
- Tell the platform which clicks became patients
- Show your own web address on the ad
- Build audiences from your own visitors
What a profile on Doctoralia or any directory does not let anyone do
- Install the Meta pixel, so Meta never learns which ad brought a real patient.
- Install GA4, so nobody can see what people did before they wrote or left.
- Get you indexed on your own terms: the page that Google ranks is theirs, with your competition listed underneath.
- Show your own web address in a Google ad, because the address the ad displays has to be the one it leads to.
None of this is a limit of ours. The page simply belongs to them. On a site of your own, all of it can be set up.
Six things that only exist if the page is yours
Not because a directory is bad. Because these six things only exist on something you control.
It accumulates. A subscription does not.
A year of paying a directory buys a year of visibility, and it stops the month you stop. A year of publishing on your own page leaves articles, treatment pages and rankings that keep working whether or not you paid this month.
A page per treatment, because that is how people search
Patients search by procedure, and each procedure carries different worries: pain, recovery, cost, how many visits. A profile gives you one description for everything you do. One page cannot rank for twenty different questions.
Read moreYour credential, which the law already requires you to publish
Article 19 of Mexico's health advertising regulation requires stating the institution that issued your title and, where applicable, your professional licence number, in whatever advertising medium you use. On your own site you control how prominently that appears. It is an obligation and a conversion element at the same time.
Read moreBooking that triggers your process, not theirs
On your own system a booking sets off the chain you decide: confirmation, reminders on the channel the patient actually reads, notice to the practice, calendar sync, follow-up if they cancel. Recovering a booked appointment costs far less than buying a new patient.
Read moreData you can actually use, and are responsible for
Knowing that a patient came from Instagram, asked about implants and did not book is what makes the next campaign smarter. It also comes with duties: health data is sensitive personal data in Mexico, and your privacy notice has to reflect the law in force since March 2025, not the old one.
A source about you that machines can read
Services, specialists, credentials, locations, frequently asked questions and structured data, all published by you and kept current. We will not promise that an AI assistant will recommend you, because nobody can. What you can do is make sure the official version of your practice exists and is legible.
None of this argues for leaving the directories. Take the free profile, take Google, take Instagram. Use them to send people somewhere that is yours.
Pick what your practice actually needs
Three levels. You can start at one and add the next later.
Website
Your treatments, credentials, location and contact, on an address of your own.
Website with booking
Adds a page per treatment, local SEO, online booking and measurement of what arrives.
Website with automation
Adds the assistant, reminders, your appointment panel, payments and connected campaigns.
Published prices are reference points, not a menu. Every practice asks for something specific, so the real number comes out of a short evaluation.
See the reference pricesThe questions this raises
No. We register our own clients there and we would tell you to take the free profile, along with Google, Instagram and any directory that sends patients. Appear wherever your patients look. The argument is about where you invest to build something that stays yours, not about which platforms to abandon.

Marketing Mistakes Dentists and Doctors Make
Nine failures we see repeatedly in Mexican practices, ordered by how much they cost. The expensive ones are not the ones clinics worry about.
